Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician $28-$30/hr+ (based on experience) Multiple shifts available Full Benefits Weekly Pay Job Description The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair a wide range of industrial machinery and facility equipment in a multi-craft role. You will work on motors, 480V electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blow molding and plastic injection machinery, bearings, bushings, valves, tooling heads, fixtures and blades, dryers, HMIs, and PLCs. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and a strong commitment to plant safety and lockout/tagout procedures. Essential Skills 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Proficiency in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting up to 480V, including three-phase motors and wiring/rewiring. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints. Knowledge of electrical, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics as applied to industrial equipment. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery. Ability to operate, understand, and explain the operation of all relevant machinery and equipment. Solid reading, mathematical, and communication skills to follow instructions, document work, and collaborate with the team. Experience with industrial controls and 480V electrical systems. Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of guards, safety devices, and lockout/tagout procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sturgis, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
