Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Step into an important role delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging by specializing in mammography. Healthcare professionals with expertise in Imaging - Mammography are needed for a contract position supporting patient-centered breast care. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for mammography exams, performing diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders, and utilizing advanced mammography technology to capture precise images. You'll be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety during all imaging processes, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. This essential work will contribute significantly to early detection and patient care within the community.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current certification or registry in mammography (ARRT (M) required) Solid experience as a Mammography Technologist in a healthcare setting Proficiency with digital mammography systems and related imaging equipment Excellent communication and patient education skills Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality imaging and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team
