Manager, Adult Education Workforce Development and Young Adult Programs at Milpitas Unified School District Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 5/16/2026 Contact Marylynne Suarez Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $ 151,557 - $ 179,210 Annually Length of Work Year 207 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The Manager of Adult Education Workforce Development and Young Adult Programs will be assigned a wide scope of management and administrative responsibilities related to program operation, planning, and development of Workforce Development programs at the MUSD Innovation Campus and Santa Clara County Correctional facilities, and includes district-level projects such as Young Adult Workforce Certifications and the development of fee-based programs for career advancement. The Manager will collaborate with other adult schools, institutes of higher education, workforce development boards, and industry. The Manager will assist the Director in implementing workforce development and education programs as described in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, as well as the California Adult Education Program (AB104) and other grant opportunities. The The manager will support the development of partnerships with corporations, governance, and community-based organizations to strengthen and expand pathway opportunities for learners. The Manager will oversee the adult education programming, credit recovery programming, the high school equivalency exam, and high school credit recovery classes at MUSD Adult Education Workforce Development, dual enrollment courses with the institutes of higher education, and serve as the evening administrator for adult learning programs. Five (5) years of teaching experience, preferably at the 9-12 grade level. Previous experience as a Principal is DESIRED. Master's degree. Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities at the high school level. Meet District standards for physical and mental health. Two (2) years of experience as Assistant Principal-High School.
