The Manager, HRIS (Workday) leads the functional evolution of the organization's Workday platform—from strategic design and implementation to optimization and governance—ensuring it delivers meaningful insights, seamless experiences, and real business value. Partnering closely with HR, IT, and key business leaders, you'll translate complex needs into scalable, data‑driven solutions that elevate HR operations, empower users, and support strategic decision‑making. As a hands‑on leader, you'll guide and develop a team of HRIS professionals while serving as a trusted Workday expert across modules—driving continuous improvement, innovation, and forward‑thinking solutions across the HR technology landscape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Workday Platform Ownership & Roadmap Leadership
  • Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing evolution of Workday across Core HCM and related modules. Own and drive the HRIS roadmap, aligning priorities with business strategy and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery. Communicate roadmap progress and milestones clearly to stakeholders, keeping initiatives on track and moving forward Strategic Partnership & Advisory
  • Partner with HR Business Process Owners to translate business needs into smart, scalable Workday solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday capabilities, system design, and best practices. Build strong, collaborative relationships across HR, IT, and the business to support enterprise‑wide initiatives Process Excellence, Optimization & Innovation
  • Ensure HRIS standards, processes, and governance are followed throughout system design, testing, and implementation. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate work, reduce manual effort, and unlock cost savings. Lead regular business process reviews, recommend improvements, and drive action plans from idea to execution Data Integrity, Efficiency & Enterprise Impact
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, data consistency, and system reliability. Leverage system insights to influence better decisions and scalable solutions across the organization Continuous Learning & Vendor Management
  • Stay ahead of Workday releases, enhancements, and industry trends to continuously improve platform value.
Manage third‑party HRIS support through a managed service provider, ensuring strong performance and accountability
WHAT WE'RE SEEKING
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, information systems, database management or related field, required. Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading and developing high performing teams in a rapidly changing environment. Deep working knowledge in the effective technical support of Workday applications. Thorough understanding of all areas of information in HRIS with a highly technical understanding of at least one industry recognized HRIS product, preferably Workday. Experience across multiple HCM modules, including Onboarding, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning and Benefits Administration, preferred. Excellent analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS. Strong project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities during project lifecycles

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership, development and guidance to HRIS Functional team. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and assisting in providing appropriate resolutions.
