We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Master Mechanic specializing in vintage and classic automobiles. In this role, you will be the go-to professional for restoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting iconic vehicles, ensuring each car meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and restorations on a wide range of vintage and classic automobiles, ensuring authenticity and quality standards are met. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engine components, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical systems with meticulous attention to detail. Source and select appropriate parts, accessories, and materials that match the original specifications of each vehicle. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities for each vehicle. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert advice on restoration processes or maintenance plans. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices while upholding the integrity of each classic car. Mentor junior technicians by sharing knowledge of vintage automotive systems and restoration techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a master mechanic with a strong focus on classic or vintage cars; certification in automotive technology is not required but perfered. Extensive knowledge of automotive systems specific to older models, including carburetors, manual transmissions, electrical wiring diagrams, and bodywork restoration. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail to ensure authentic restoration work that meets client expectations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills to explain technical details clearly to clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Please Bring Your Driving Record to Your Interview) ; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
