Summary:
The Operations Manager leads Manufacturing, Facilities, and Operations to drive efficiency, profitability, and quality. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute short- and long-term manufacturing strategies, including workforce planning, capital investments, and technology integration.Optimize production efficiency, inventory control, and quality standards to align with business goals.
Monitor and enhance manufacturing performance, implementing cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
Lead hiring, training, and employee development programs to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Partner with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and facility management to maintain secure and efficient operations.
Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to align production with business needs.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and operational success.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages multiple subordinate supervisors overseeing Flexo/Digital Production, Finishing, and Screenprint. Supervises Purchasing, R D, Shipping, and Receiving. Also provides oversight for IT and Facilities. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and ensuring policy compliance.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.6+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of combined education and experience in operations and production management.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, manufacturing software, and IT infrastructure management.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
