Manufacturing Operations Coordinator

The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting production flow, ERP management, inventory control, procurement, workplace safety, and manufacturing operations. This position works closely with production, purchasing, engineering, safety, and leadership teams to help ensure materials, systems, processes, and safety standards stay aligned and moving efficiently. This is not just an administrative role. We are looking for someone who understands manufacturing environments, enjoys operational problem solving, and takes ownership of getting things done.

Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations Maintain and manage ERP system data Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) Assist with purchasing and procurement activities Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on materials and timelines Monitor inventory levels and help maintain inventory accuracy Track material shortages and support production scheduling needs Work with production teams to improve workflow and operational efficiency Assist with product data, part numbers, and manufacturing documentation Help support continuous improvement initiatives throughout operations Communicate effectively across departments to keep projects and production moving Help maintain and implement workplace safety standards, policies, and procedures across the production floor and office areas Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs, including PPE use, safety training, and required documentation Identify, report, and help correct workplace hazards, and support incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in day-to-day manufacturing operations

Qualifications:

High school diploma with 5 years of manufacturing experience or associate's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering with 2 years of manufacturing experience Experience in manufacturing, operations, inventory, procurement, or production coordination Experience working with ERP/MRP systems Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Comfortable working in both office and production environments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving operation Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and workflow is preferred Familiarity with workplace safety practices, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
