QSR General Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) General Manager to lead our fast-paced food service operation. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence. This role demands strong leadership, culinary knowledge, and management skills to drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and optimize profitability. The QSR General Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive dining environment while managing staff, inventory, and financial objectives effectively. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to maintain high-quality service and compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs. Supervise staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction. Handle shift management responsibilities such as scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring smooth service flow. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with health regulations. Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a competent team. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-control measures. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders. Lead promotional activities or catering events to increase brand visibility. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments; casual dining or hotel experience is advantageous. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and performance evaluations. Knowledge of inventory control, food management, and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced setting. Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting within the food industry. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Strong communication skills for effective interviewing, training, and customer interactions. Culinary experience or hospitality management background preferred; barista or coffee experience is a plus. $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
