Full Job Description Description:
Artisan Design Group (ADG) is launching a new countertop manufacturing operation in Pineville, NC and is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Manager to help build, lead, and support daily shop operations from the ground floor. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building teams, improving processes, driving production, and creating operational structure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will play a key role in establishing workflows, supporting production and installation operations, driving safety and quality initiatives, and helping build a strong operational culture as the business grows. We are looking for an operational leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and understands how to balance production, people leadership, quality, and execution.
What You'll Do:
Lead day-to-day manufacturing and shop operations Supervise and develop production associates in a fast-paced operational environment Help build operational structure, workflows, and processes within a new manufacturing operation Drive production efficiency, quality, and on-time completion of customer orders Partner with leadership to improve workflow, scheduling, and overall operational performance Support inventory management, material flow, and production planning Coordinate closely with fabrication, installation, and support teams to ensure operational success Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards Help troubleshoot operational challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of shop associates Support equipment reliability and coordinate maintenance needs as needed
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, warehouse manufacturing, millwork, cabinetry, industrial operations, or related environments Experience leading teams within fast-paced operational or production settings Strong operational mindset with the ability to drive execution and solve problems quickly Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and team-building skills Ability to balance production demands, quality, safety, and customer expectations Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing or production equipment preferred Experience helping build or improve operational processes is strongly preferred
Preferred Background:
Experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing operations Countertop or stone fabrication Cabinet or millwork manufacturing Industrial production Distribution or warehouse operations Construction-related manufacturing environments
