Job Description

Kimera Labs, Inc is a biotechnology company located in Miramar, FL. We are a fast-growing team, seeking to fill a " Manufacturing Science Technologist/Scientist I, II, III, or Associate " position for our laboratory and manufacturing campus. Salary and Position will be determined based on relevant work experience and education. Kimera Labs, Inc. offers excellent benefits (health, dental, vision, matching 401K, holidays, paid time off, etc.)•The following are the Roles and Responsibilities of an employee, including but not limited to: Proactively assumes and performs responsibility for upstream and downstream tasks in the manufacturing operations. Participate in the Aseptic Filling operations. Execute process operations in accordance with the dynamic production timeline. Prepare buffers/media per defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ability to follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance. Maintain Equipment Use Logs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Production Records, Raw Material Specifications. Hands-on operation, set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of bioreactors and various cell culture support vessels. May interact with Project Management QA, QC, Facilities, Engineering, Process Sciences, GMP production groups, and external clients regarding purification campaigns. Assist with hands-on-training of new Manufacturing Science Technologist/Scientist's when applicable. Perform washroom activities; clean equipment, small to large scale, used in production activities. Assist in the review and/or development of documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records, protocols, MPs, SOP's, etc.). Absolute advocate for SAFETY, always exhibit and promote it. Assist in troubleshooting issues and coordinate resolutions to challenges. Maintain an organized and clean workspace. Communicate transparently with management. Builds sound working relationships with internal departments and external clients in support of company goals. Listens attentively to internal departments and can relay upstream information, responsibilities, and policies respectfully, effectively, and clearly. Collects and disposes of lab wastes according to established procedures. Responsible for routine maintenance of upstream and downstream production equipment. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices. Work in a clean room environment with full clean room gowning, hairnet, and latex gloves, etc., when performing all laboratory work. Initiate quality nonconformance reports when applicable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, and to work weekends occasionally to support the dynamic production schedule and relevant timelines. Perform other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree in biology/life/chemistry sciences or related field is required. A Master's degree in science or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in cell culture or a relevant field. Laboratory experience in a medical manufacturing environment. Excellent data analyzing review skills. Able to work a flexible schedule, including long hours when required for manufacturing or specific projects and occasionally on weekends.
Pay:
$50,000.00•$75,000.00 per year
