Job Description

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing engineering and product sustaining activities for released products. A successful candidate will have a strong ability to apply engineering principles to deliver solutions for testing, sustaining, and manufacturing electro-mechanical devices. This role serves as a key engineering resource to support product lifecycle management, in-process testing, trend analysis and reliability monitoring, and manufacturing process optimization.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop and execute verification, validation, and qualification protocols, including test method development, engineering experimentation, statistical data analysis, and reporting to support product and process changes. Author and sustain technical documentation including test procedures, drawings, models, assembly instructions, document change orders (DCOs), validation protocols, and engineering reports. Lead and review root cause analyses, failure investigations, customer complaints, and reliability trends, and support corrective and preventive actions. Develop, maintain, and improve production test procedures, fixtures, instrumentation, and data collection methods. Support product lifecycle management activities, including, qualification of alternate components, and management of component obsolescence. Collaborate with outside vendors and suppliers to ensure components can be manufactured to specifications and in compliance with quality standards. Participate in the Non-Conforming Material Review Board (MRB) to evaluate nonconformances and support disposition decisions. Complete special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager. Observe all company safety policies and practices. Maintain and encourage cooperative relationships with all employees in support of the company mission and strategic plan. May be required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods and may occasionally lift items up to 25 pounds. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Science or Engineering related field 5 or more years of experience in an engineering role
Preferred Background:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field) Experience supporting manufacturing of regulated products (ISO 13485, or similar quality systems) Experience developing and executing verification and validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and test method validation Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies, driving failure analyses, root cause investigations, and reliability evaluations Experience performing statistical analyses and Design of Experiments (DOE) Experience with fixture design and development Experience working with engineering documentation and change control systems Strong proficiency in technical writing with proficiency in office and engineering software tools This is a full-time, on-site position requiring daily work at our office location. Pay:
$101,500.00 - $110,300.00 per year
