Artisan's Asylum (A2) is looking for local artists, engineers, creators, and dreamers to join our team of Instructors. We are a 52,000 square-foot space in Brighton, MA offering creative makers opportunities to make, learn, and teach their passions. We are looking for individuals who want to teach traditional and non-traditional creative learning workshops that utilize the tools, space, and equipment that Artisans Asylum offers within its over 15 unique shops, including: Wood Metal Digital Design and Photography Casting Jewelry Electronics & Robotics Fiber Arts Screening DigiFab Machine Shop Sandblasting and Powder Coating Finishing Bike Repair Full details, including our Instructor Handbook, class proposal form, and class policies can be found on our .
Qualifications:
Instructors should have the following: Experience in a specific creative/fabrication field Ability to inspire students to think creatively and problem solve Experience writing engaging curriculum that builds skills within a workshop or over a series of sessions Interested in being a member of ourmunity Willing to be tool tested, if teaching a class using d fabrication tools
