Job Description

Job Description SCS Cabinets is a manufacturer of kitchen, bath, and outdoor living space cabinets that are primarily sold wholesale to home builders and contractors. Our team of office and manufacturing personnel, along with designers and installers, work together to receive, design, quote, sell, deliver, service, and install custom cabinets. The team is looking for an individual to work in the Design Division using Mozaik and 2020 software packages. The primary role is to function as a designer and customer relations team member - responsible for working with the customer to develop designs and templates used for producing the cabinets. Functional Responsibilities Working with the customer to create a proper value exchange between expectations and sale/delivery Designing the cabinets in Mozaik design software Producing design templates used for the production of the cabinets Working with the production team to execute production Engage in process of ordering and procuring products Engage in process of entering orders, producing orders, and helping manage team objectives Process Responsibilities Designing and planning cabinets and storage systems. Primarily focused on residential kitchen and bath designs.
Primary process duties include:
Consulting with clients to determine their needs and preferences. Collaborating with other professionals, such as builders, interior designers, and Project Managers. Creating detailed drawings and 3D images of cabinet designs using 2020 Design and Mozaik software packages. Preparing and presenting design concepts and estimates to clients for approval. Working closely with the shop team to ensure feasibility in cabinet designs. Calculating material usage and preparing material orders for purchasing department. Providing the shop with construction drawings and other pertinent job information. Creating cabinet part cut-files in Mozaik software to be used on the CNC router. Qualifications Strong artistic and design skills, with an eye for detail. High attention to detail Proficiency in computer-aided design software 2020 Design or Mozaik. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials. Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges and create innovative solutions. Familiarity with industry standards and building codes. Ability to read floor plans and other construction documents. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
