Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Installer/Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing custom cabinets and woodwork for residential projects. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from detailed cabinet fabrication to complete remodeling tasks, all while contributing to beautiful, functional living spaces. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute cabinet fabrication and installation. Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinetry using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Install cabinets, doors, trim, siding, drywall, flooring, and other fixtures with precision and attention to detail. Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large materials safely on construction sites or in workshops. Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during fabrication and installation processes. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project timelines and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards related to construction site experience. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking, and residential carpentry. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing, rebar installation, masonry, plastering, stucco application, roofing, drywall installation, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, fixture installation, siding work, remodeling techniques, and metal framing. Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites. Strong understanding of power tool safety procedures and proper handling of construction materials such as wood construction materials. Experience in cabinet installation or fabrication is highly preferred. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in finishing work such as trim carpentry or door hanging. Valid construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship in both new builds and renovation projects.
