Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our commercial millwork production team. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling custom cabinets, casework, counters, and millwork for restaurant and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on cabinet making or millwork experience, can read shop drawings and measurements accurately, and is comfortable working with woodworking machinery, power tools, laminates, and various wood materials. Responsibilities Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, cut lists, and production specifications. Build and assemble custom cabinets, casework, counters, and millwork components. Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble materials according to specifications. Work with plywood, MDF, hardwoods, laminates, veneers, and other materials. Install doors, drawers, hardware, and other cabinet components. Apply plastic laminate and other surfacing materials. Operate table saws, panel saws, routers, sanders, drills, and other woodworking equipment. Check measurements and finished products for accuracy and quality. Make adjustments as needed to ensure proper fit and appearance. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all required safety procedures. Qualifications Previous cabinet making, millwork, finish carpentry, or woodworking experience preferred. Commercial or architectural millwork experience is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand shop drawings and construction documents. Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and fabrication. Experience working with laminate, veneer, plywood, and MDF. Comfortable using woodworking hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Strong measuring skills, including working with fractions and dimensions. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship. Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a production team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working around machinery, noise, dust, adhesives, and wood materials. Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear .
