Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide woodworking projects Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers safely and effectively Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood components for residential carpentry, trim work, siding, doors, flooring, and fixtures Use woodworking machines such as table saws, planers, jointers, and sanders to produce precise cuts and finishes Assist with construction estimating by calculating material needs and project timelines Perform heavy lifting of construction materials and assist with site preparation tasks such as framing, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and mold remediation Support restoration industry projects by performing demolition, remodeling, flooring installation, siding replacement, fixture hanging, and general handyman tasks Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry Experience with construction site safety protocols related to power tools and heavy lifting Skilled in residential carpentry including door hanging, trim work, framing, siding installation, and flooring Ability to operate woodworking machines safely while maintaining quality standards Familiarity with building materials such as wood construction materials and rebar for framing projects Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on the job site while maintaining safety standards Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship!
