In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and lamination of high-quality millwork components used in commercial construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and adhere to blueprint specifications, contributing to the successful delivery of custom wood and composite material solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and techniques in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately assemble millwork components. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and tape measures to fabricate, laminate, and assemble wood, composite materials, and other building components. Follow blueprint specifications meticulously to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality control during fabrication. Measure and verify dimensions using shop math skills and measurement tools to maintain strict quality standards. Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and machinery. Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, machining tasks, and fabrication projects to meet production deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in woodworking, millwork fabrication, or manufacturing environments with a focus on laminated products. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, tape measures, and other measuring devices. Knowledge of composite materials, woodworking techniques, and dimensional measurements for quality assurance. Ability to perform shop math calculations related to measurements, material quantities, and fabrication tolerances. Experience with fabricating or machining wood-based products in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
