401(k) matching Competitive salary Paid time off Custom Millwork and Cabinet Maker Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking specializes in bespoke cabinetry and architectural millwork for residential clients along California's Orange Coast. We are searching for a skilled Millwork and Cabinet Maker experienced in building custom cabinetry and fine architectural millwork for high-end homes. The right candidate will bring true craftsmanship to the shop floor.
Wage Range:
$34.00•$40.00 hourly.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 7:00 am•3:30 pm with occasional overtime/Saturdays available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build custom cabinetry and architectural millwork from start to finish with a commitment to quality. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, cut lists, and technical documents with accuracy. Perform cutting, milling, assembly, and finishing work with precision and accuracy. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Confirm measurements, squareness, fit, and finish throughout the process. Install and adjust hardware. Deliver high-quality projects with minimal oversight. Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist with loading, staging, and preparing completed cabinetry for delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Collaborate and communicate productively and respectfully with the team in all situations.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of experience crafting high-end, residential custom cabinets and architectural millwork with a commitment to quality. Able to read blueprints, shop drawings, cut lists, and technical documents with accuracy. Strong working knowledge of the processes and equipment used in woodworking: material breakdown, joinery, assembly, edge treatment, sanding & surface prep, hardware installation, finishing. Knowledge of the different wood species and materials used in woodworking. CNC operation experience is preferred, but not required. Physically able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours, and occasionally bend, kneel, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
