We specialize in creating custom, one-of-a-kind cabinetry that combines craftsmanship, precision, and design excellence. Position Overview We are seeking an Apprentice Custom Cabinetmaker to join our growing team in San Jose. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in their craft, and has hands-on experience in high-end residential cabinetry.
Responsibilities:
Safely load, transport, and deliver cabinetry to job sites when required Drive company vehicles to deliver and assist with installation of cabinetry Install hardware on cabinetry (hinges, drawer slides, and accessories) Read and interpret shop drawings Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools Perform precise cuts, joinery, sanding, and finishing to meet quality standards Collaborate with the shop team to ensure projects are completed on schedule Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
1+ years of cabinetmaking or woodworking experience (custom/high-end work preferred) Knowledge of woodworking techniques and joinery Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications Skilled in using woodworking tools, machinery, and equipment Commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship with attention to detail Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 75 lbs) Valid California Driver's License required Preferred Skills (not required): CNC operation/programming experience Experience with high-end residential cabinetry installation
