Employees will be working for a company that manufactures handcrafted windows and doors. All candidates will help to assemble windows and door frames. Candidates will be working around wood, wood dust and saw noise. Candidates must be able to operate hand saws, hand drills, nail or staple guns and must be able to read a tape measure. Candidates must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day, must be able to lift up to 50Ibs on their own and must be able to move around departments where help is needed. Candidates must be flexible and able to work Saturdays and overtime as needed. Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood materials Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications Sanding, finishing, staining, and painting wood products Inspecting materials and finished products for quality and accuracy Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas Following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) Loading, unloading, and organizing lumber and supplies
