Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer to join our dynamic two-way radio installation team within the Santa Barbara County area. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise installation of public safety two-way radios, antennas, connectors and running coax in a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will help ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a special project installing all new equipment. This is approximately a two year position with the possibility of extending employment once the contract is complete. Responsibilities Must be familiar with vehicles and the technical expertise of disassembly and assembly of delicate vehicle component during an installation. Helpful to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute installations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure materials during installation processes. Helpful if you own your own tools. Measure dimensions precisely with tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Conduct inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Follow safety guidelines diligently with proper use of PPE. Collaborate with project managers through clear communication, professional service and accurate documentation. Proven experience as a mechanic, installer or construction related roles are helpful.
