Deegan Woodworks is seeking an experienced Cabinet Shop Drawing Drafter to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience producing accurate shop drawings for custom cabinetry, millwork, and architectural woodwork. Full time in office. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cabinet, millwork and wood-trim shop drawings for luxury residential projects Create accurate plans, elevations, sections, and construction details Interpret architectural drawings, interior design plans, specifications, and field measurements Translate design concepts into clear, buildable drawings for shop fabrication Coordinate dimensions, materials, hardware, finishes, and construction details Revise drawings based on architect, designer, client, and project manager comments Work closely with project managers, cabinetmakers, and installers to resolve design and fabrication questions Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before submission and production Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation Qualifications Previous experience drafting custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, or casework Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting/design software Strong understanding of cabinet construction and millwork fabrication methods Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings Excellent attention to detail and dimensional accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Knowledge of cabinet hardware, materials, and finishes is preferred Exceptional communication skills that can cleary relay information from design professionals to shop fabrciators Experience working directly with a cabinet or millwork shop is highly preferred
