Cabinet Installation Field Supervisor

About the Position Urban Edge Design Solutions is looking for an experienced Cabinet Installation Field Supervisor to manage cabinet installation on fast-paced, large-scale multifamily construction projects . This is a field-based position for someone who knows cabinet installation, understands multifamily construction schedules, and can effectively manage installation crews while working directly with General Contractor field management. You will be responsible for field supervision, quality control, installation crews, deliveries, scheduling, safety, punch lists, and day-to-day communication with the General Contractor. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the project, identifies problems before they become delays, and makes sure our cabinets are installed correctly the first time. Multifamily cabinet installation experience is strongly preferred. Countertop experience is a plus. What You'll Do Supervise and coordinate cabinet installation crews and subcontractors. Manage daily production and manpower to meet aggressive multifamily construction schedules. Coordinate installation sequencing, unit readiness, access, and scheduling with the General Contractor. Serve as Urban Edge's primary field contact with GC superintendents and field management. Attend project coordination, scheduling, and safety meetings. Coordinate cabinet deliveries, unloading, staging, forklift operations, and distribution of material to units. Inspect incoming cabinets for damage, shortages, and incorrect material. Perform continuous quality-control inspections of cabinet installations. Verify cabinets are installed plumb, level, square, properly aligned, securely attached, and in accordance with approved requirements. Inspect doors, drawers, hardware, fillers, panels, moldings, toe kicks, plumbing/electrical cutouts, and final adjustments. Manage damaged or missing material and coordinate replacement parts. Coordinate cabinet work with countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other trades. Manage punch lists and drive units through final acceptance. Conduct and document toolbox talks and required safety meetings. Enforce jobsite safety requirements, PPE, and safe operation of tools and equipment. Document delays, access issues, damage by other trades, changed conditions, and other field issues. Plans, Drawings & Procore Candidates must be able to: Read and understand cabinet shop drawings. Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, details, finish schedules, and specifications. Compare shop drawings and architectural plans against actual field conditions. Identify drawing conflicts, dimensional issues, missing backing, and other problems before installation. Use Procore for drawings, photos, field documentation, observations, punch lists, and project communication. Communicate field issues clearly through photographs, email, Procore, and written documentation. What We're Looking For Previous multifamily construction experience required . Cabinet installation supervision experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of cabinet installation and quality-control standards. Experience managing multiple installation crews in a fast-paced construction environment. Ability to read cabinet shop drawings and architectural plans. Working knowledge of Procore. Ability to coordinate deliveries, material staging, and installation schedules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision. Comfortable working directly with General Contractor superintendents and field management. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel between assigned projects as required. Certifications & Safety Forklift certification is required for the position, but Urban Edge can provide the required training and certification. The following are preferred but can also be provided or coordinated for the right candidate:
OSHA 30 CPR
/ First Aid Forklift Certification Candidates who already hold these certifications are preferred. Countertop Experience Is a Plus Experience with countertop installation, templating, delivery, field measurements, or countertop coordination is a plus but is not required.Compensation & Benefits Salary:

We need someone who enjoys being in the field, working with crews, solving problems, checking quality, coordinating with the GC, and keeping production moving. The right candidate will be Urban Edge's eyes and ears on the jobsite and will take personal responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, communication, and getting the project completed correctly.
