Fabrication Associate

Job Description

Overview We are looking for a hands-on Fabricator to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone with a carpentry, construction, cabinetry, scenic, or general fabrication background . The ideal candidate can read blueprints and shop drawings, accurately measure and fit materials, and use hand and power tools and operate a sit-down forklift.
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM, overtime if needed Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Build, assemble, and fit exhibits, displays, stages, and custom structures. Properly crate and package completed projects and components for transportation. Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately. Use hand tools and small power tools safely. Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and completed projects. Check finished assemblies for proper fit and alignment. Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work with the production team to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications Experience in carpentry, construction, fabrication, cabinetry, or a related trade. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Dependable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team. Able to work in a hands-on shop/production environment. Welding experience is not required. We are primarily looking for someone with strong fabrication, assembly, and carpentry-type skills who takes pride in accurate, quality work.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
