The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to work effectively on construction sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Review project plans, blueprints, or design specifications prior to installation. Measure, cut, and assemble materials (wood, laminate, hardware, shelving, etc.) with precision. Install custom closet systems, cabinetry, and organizational features in residential and commercial spaces. Ensure installations are level, secure, and finished to company quality standards. Troubleshoot and adjust on-site to resolve fit or design issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installation. Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Load, transport, and unload materials and components for each job. Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times. Skills Previous experience in carpentry, finish work, cabinetry, or custom installation (preferred). Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or design layouts. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication and customer service skills. Work Environment & Schedule Full-time position with variable hours depending on project needs. Work performed in customer homes, offices, and on construction sites. Some travel within the service area required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience). Overtime opportunities available.
