Job Description

Candidates are required to have 3 years of experience with Cabinet Vision including a strong understanding of manufacturing with a desire for best practices and improved processes. Custom cabinet work and screen to machine experience is a must. Engineer and price cabinetry, vanities, shelving, bookshelves, hutches, built-ins and other highly custom items using Cabinet Vision software. Please be prepared to show portfolio drawings/past examples of work , provide verifiable references, and draw an example kitchen during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Participate in 1:1 design meetings with kitchen & bath designers and senior engineer to communicate job requirements and client needs. Produce proposals within a 48 hour turnaround time Produce detailed production drawings with Cabinet Vision Proficient in interpreting design documents, including both architectural and interior design drawings and specifications. Review, analyze and coordinate documents of related trades including appliances, lighting, hardware, owner equipment, etc. Accountable for complete, accurate, readable drawings and pricing Produce cut lists and specs for the factory Must work on-site. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications:
Cabinet Vision software: 3 years required Experience drawing/estimating in a custom cabinetry or high-end millwork shop Must understand cabinet and carpentry construction High attention to detail and ability to communicate intent through drawings Continuously looking to improve processes to gain efficiencies and minimize errors and is open to new ideas Works directly with the Production Manager on all shop related items and to coordinate production flow No supervisor duties required
