Experienced Millworker / Cabinet Maker (High-End Custom Cabinetry)

Full-Time About GS Woodworking GS Woodworking is a custom millwork and cabinetry company serving luxury residential projects throughout Connecticut and New York. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Millworker / Cabinet Maker who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and delivering exceptional quality. Responsibilities Build and assemble high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. Read and accurately interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical drawings. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, assemble, and fit custom components with precision. Maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Identify and resolve production issues while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience building custom cabinetry or architectural millwork. Proven experience working in a professional woodworking shop. Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings. Experience using woodworking machinery, including table saws, shapers, routers, edge banders, sanders, and other production equipment. Excellent measuring, fitting, and assembly skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Able to lift materials and work in a production environment. Portuguese or Spanish is required. Must be able to work on-site in Bridgeport, CT . Preferred Qualifications Experience with custom-built kitchens, closets, vanities, wall panels, and built-in cabinetry. Experience installing specialty hardware and custom accessories. Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and suggest practical solutions. Experience working in a fast-paced custom millwork environment. We are looking for experienced professionals only.
