Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate gutter installation aligned with project specifications. Install various types of gutters, including metal roofing gutters and single-ply membrane roofing systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses to perform installations safely and efficiently on different building types. Conduct roofing repairs or siding installation as needed to prepare surfaces for gutter attachment or restoration projects. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for precise execution of installation tasks. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety standards during outdoor work environments. Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings related to roofing and gutter systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in outdoor construction settings. Knowledge of roofing repair techniques, metal roofing installation, siding installation, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing basics, welding, tile laying, concrete forming, fabrication, framing carpentry, drywall finishing, heavy lifting techniques, schematics interpretation, restoration projects, metal stud framing and handyman skills. Familiarity with construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards for workplace safety and ladder use protocols. Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed schematics or technical instructions. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on outdoor environments requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety practices including the proper use of safety harnesses during elevated work.
