Updated 08/21/2026 Job Description Job Summary Manufacturing and fabricating cabinets from raw materials on aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal, and veneers Construct interior components to the customer's specifications Fabricates, fits, trims, and installs interior components, galleys, bulkheads, doors, side ledges, tray, and conference tables Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Inspect and inventory incoming cabinetry for existing damage Protect and tag all items using proper interior nomenclature for part identification Reads and interprets equipment manuals to complete all work Completes all associated paperwork thoroughly and accurately for all work accomplished Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments Seeks methods to cross-train to develop technical skills and business knowledge Assist aircraft technicians when necessary Ensure functional tests of all installed items are satisfactory Performs other duties as required Assist engineering staff and draftsmen in generating drawings and renderings Work with DER's to provide structural data when necessary
REQUIREMENTS
High school or GED Minimum five (5) years of experience in aviation cabinetmaking and fabrication preferred Woodworking or wood finishing experience in a technical environment Cabinet installation experience including fit and trim preferred Requires excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and achieve airport SIDA badge Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated without explicit consent of JSfirm, LLC.
