As a cabinet installer, you will be the key to bringing beautiful, functional cabinetry to life in homeowners' residences. You will work closely with project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure every installation meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets and related fixtures. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment for precise assembly and installation. Measure spaces accurately to ensure proper fit of cabinetry, trim, siding, and other wood construction materials. Install doors, hardware, moldings, trim carpentry, and fixtures with attention to detail. Perform heavy lifting of cabinetry components and materials safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Conduct site preparation tasks such as caulking. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or siding replacement. Assist in the interpretation of construction plans for complex projects involving framing or tile laying. Support clients during the installation process by ensuring their expectations are met with professionalism and care. Experience Proven construction estimating experience combined with residential carpentry background. Extensive hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on cabinetry installation or related carpentry trades. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise project execution. Familiarity with woodworking machines and power tools used in framing, trim carpentry. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques combined with safety awareness when handling wood construction materials or fixtures. Previous handyman experience involving fixture installation, door hanging, or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
