  • Luxury Residential Kodiak Custom Cabinetry is a high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork shop serving luxury residences throughout Palm Beach County.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Installer who can independently manage installations from layout through final completion. This is primarily a hands-on lead installation position, not a helper or project management only role. Between installations, the Lead Installer may also assist with cabinet fabrication, assembly, and custom shop work. Cabinetmaking experience is a strong advantage. Responsibilities Install high-end custom cabinetry, built-ins, architectural millwork, and wall panels Read and work accurately from detailed shop drawings Establish laser-level reference lines and maintain consistent reveals Install finished panels, fillers, scribes, moldings, appliance panels and integrated millwork Protect floors, walls, stone and finished surfaces Coordinate professionally with homeowners, designers, builders and other trades Identify field conditions and communicate problems before proceeding Create and complete punch lists Take responsibility for final fit, alignment, adjustment, and presentation Direct an installer/helper when assigned Required Qualifications Minimum five years of professional custom-cabinet or architectural-millwork installation experience Experience leading installations independently Strong knowledge of custom cabinetry, built-ins, finished panels, and casework Ability to read shop drawings and verify field dimensions Excellent finish-carpentry, problem-solving, and scribing skills Professional appearance and behavior in occupied luxury homes Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from Kodiak's shop in Lake Park Ability to safely drive Kodiak's box truck between the shop and job sites References and photographs of completed installations What Kodiak Offers Full-time, steady work Paid time off Overtime opportunities when available High-end custom projects, not repetitive production installation Shop support and properly manufactured custom components Opportunity to lead installations and grow with the company Company box truck provided for transportation from the shop to job sites How to Apply Please submit: Your work history or résumé Photographs of at least three recent cabinet or millwork installations Two professional references Your requested hourly rate The earliest date you could start Applicants without relevant lead-installation experience or photographs of completed work will not be considered.
