Job Description

Bell Cabinetry & Design is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our custom cabinetry team. In this role, you'll prepare, finish, and detail high-end kitchen, bath, and whole-home cabinetry using stains, paints, and clear coats. Responsibilities include surface prep, color matching, spraying and hand-finishing, and quality checks to ensure flawless results. You'll work closely with designers, craftsmen, and installers in a collaborative, design-focused shop that values craftsmanship, precision, and customer satisfaction. Grow your finishing and woodworking skills while contributing to premium residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, filling, and priming for finishing. Mix, match, and apply stains, paints, and clear coats to custom cabinetry. Operate and maintain spray equipment, booths, and finishing tools. Inspect finished pieces for quality, color accuracy, and finish consistency. Follow work orders, drawings, and finish schedules to meet design specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area in the shop. Collaborate with designers, installers, and shop staff to meet project timelines. Perform touch-ups and repairs on finished cabinetry as needed on site or in shop.
