Part-Time Garage Cabinet Installer Position:
Part-Time Garage Cabinet Installer We are looking for a dependable, motivated part-time Garage Cabinet Installer to join our team. This position involves assisting with the installation of custom garage cabinets and storage systems in residential homes. This is a great opportunity for a firefighter, first responder, tradesperson, or anyone who has weekdays off and is looking to earn extra income. The part-time schedule can provide flexibility for someone looking to supplement their primary job without committing to a full-time position. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of garage cabinets and storage systems. Safely lift, carry, position, and secure cabinets. Use hand tools and power tools as needed. Accurately measure and follow installation instructions. Assist with job-site preparation and cleanup. Maintain a professional work environment at customer homes. Work safely and respectfully in residential environments. Follow directions and work effectively as part of an installation team. Qualifications Strong physical ability and willingness to lift and handle cabinets and other materials. Experience with woodworking, carpentry, hand tools, measuring, or construction is a plus. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work in customers' homes and interact professionally with homeowners. Previous cabinet installation experience is helpful but not required . On-the-Job Training No prior cabinet installation experience is required. We will provide on-the-job training for the right person. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is more important than extensive experience. Additional Earning Opportunities For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities for part-time epoxy flooring installation work . This can provide additional hours and income while allowing you to learn valuable flooring, construction, and installation skills.
