Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and furniture pieces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial projects. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and furniture components. Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment. Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, trim carpentry elements, and related hardware on-site with attention to detail and safety standards. Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fitment of cabinetry and perform heavy lifting as needed during installation. Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and resolve any on-site issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and safety protocols are followed. Skills Extensive experience in cabinetry fabrication, cabinet installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and schematics related to carpentry projects. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, roofing basics, flooring installation (including tile laying), masonry work, plumbing basics, electrical experience, rebar installation, water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation processes, restoration industry practices, drywall finishing (including plastering), caulking techniques, CNC machining for custom fabrication. Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, chisels), power tools (drills, sanders), heavy machinery (CNC machines), and specialized equipment for metal stud framing or rebar work. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures including heavy lifting techniques and proper handling of materials. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics or schematics for fixtures or electrical components. Experience in manufacturing environments or the restoration industry is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during installation or fabrication tasks.
