MEGA Custom Countertops - Newnan, GA Full-Time Join the MEGA Team! MEGA Custom Countertops is looking for a dependable, hardworking Solid Surface Installer Helper to join our installation team. This is a hands-on position supporting experienced installers with the installation of solid surface countertops and related products. We are looking for someone who has general knowledge of solid surface installation, construction, carpentry, countertop installation, or similar hands-on work and is willing to learn and grow. You do not need to be a fully experienced solid surface installer. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, dependable, and interested in developing their installation skills. Schedule 12-hour shifts 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day Shift Full-time position Overtime opportunities may be available Responsibilities Assist experienced installers with solid surface countertop installations. Help install countertops, wall panels, window sills, and other solid surface products. Assist with measuring, fitting, leveling, securing, and finishing materials. Learn proper solid surface seaming, sanding, polishing, and finishing techniques. Assist with minor modifications as directed by the lead installer. Load and unload countertops, tools, equipment, and materials. Safely carry and handle countertop materials. Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly. Help maintain tools and equipment. Follow instructions from lead installers and supervisors. Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Learn and retain MEGA's solid surface processes and expectations. Qualifications General knowledge of solid surface, countertop installation, construction, carpentry, cabinetry, remodeling, or similar hands-on work preferred. Previous solid surface experience is a plus, but you do not need to be a fully experienced installer. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new tools and techniques. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and understand basic measurements. Willingness to learn solid surface seaming, sanding, polishing, and finishing. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and retain training. Dependable, punctual, and ready to work each day. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting and carrying heavy materials with assistance.
