Cabinet Installer Weckwerth Cabinets builds high-end, custom cabinetry and millwork for homes in the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. We are looking to hire a self motivated, punctual, detail oriented individual who is committed to being part of our installation team based in Garden City, ID. Job Description The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the following areas: hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, levels, etc. reading tape measures and performing fractional math understanding cabinetry drawings and related paperwork installing hardware, inserts, knobs and pulls, and other cabinetry related items delivering boxes, materials, finished products, etc. coordinating with the shop team to complete punch-list items working independently and as part of a team loading trailers with tools and materials Depending on experience, the following leadership opportunities are also available: managing one or more installation teams communicating with foremen on the jobsite reporting project status, issues, etc. directly to the COO performing employee reviews making recommendations for raises and bonuses following company protocol for disciplinary actions walking the job site with the COO for final inspection ensuring company standards, including safety standards, are met or exceeded for all installation activities This job requires loading trailers, driving company vehicles, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, lifting heavy boxes, some shop work, and other activities and physical requirements standard to installation work. The majority of our work is in the Treasure Valley; however, some travel to other locations, such as McCall and Stanley, may be required. Travel expenses, meals, and lodging will be covered or reimbursed when out-of-town travel is required. We are willing to train the right person but the right experience is always preferred.
