AutoCAD proficient Ability to read architectural and structural plans Revit and Inventor familiarity a plus Basic skills in Word and Excel Familiarity with standard drafting practices Team player with excellent communication and follow through skills Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area Estimator/Project Manager (Inside Sales) Estimators collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture a product, construct a building, or provide a service. Estimators provide managers with the information they need in order to submit competitive contract bids or price products appropriately. They require experience in the door, storefront, and curtainwall industry. Inside sales personnel interact with customers by phone, e-mail or face to face. The position requires a customer service focus and maintaining relationships with our current and new customers. Duties Review or perform takeoff depending on the project and prepare cost estimates using a Pittco worksheet; Review project to confirm Pittco system are appropriate for the intended purpose; Request cost information from suppliers listed in the specifications; Update quotes as revisions are submitted prior to quote acceptance; Write purchase orders for hardware and finishing (paint/anodize); Write sales orders for stock length orders, standard entrances, custom entrances, punched openings, accessories; Provide customers with door/frame or punched opening drawings confirming size and handing for non-stock doors; Follow up on the status of orders and arrange pick up/shipping schedules with the Shipping team; and All other duties as assigned.

Door & Frame Fabricator Position Summary :

Fabricate and assemble Aluminum doors and frames using a variety of punch presses, pneumatic drills, nut drivers and hand tools. Install required custom hardware to customer specifications. May be required to make deliveries and pick-ups using company vehicle. Qualifications for the

Knowledge of door hardware Experience in metal fabrication and assembly procedures. Blue print reading. Comprehensive knowledge of measuring devices. Good communication skills. Ability to operate a variety of power equipment such as saws, punch presses, drill presses, milling machines and hand and bench tools. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fabricate / assemble materials per layouts, cut sheets, & specifications. Deliveries and pick-ups as needed in the Chicago metropolitan area. Moves and handles heavy items. Requires manual dexterity to operate factory equipment. Assist others as needed. Fill in for others during absences, and performs other jobs as required.
