CNC Grinder (ANCA / Rollomatic) Elk Grove Village, IL $65,000 - $95,000 ($43 per hour) Base Salary + Overtime (1.5x Pay) 4 Positions Available Join a global precision tooling manufacturer with an established US customer base, industry-leading technology, and genuine opportunities for career progression into senior and leadership-level positions. Friday Rotating Shift Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Two weeks on each shift rotation The Role As a CNC Grinder, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and optimising CNC grinding machines to manufacture high-precision carbide cutting tools. You'll work from engineering drawings and specifications while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout production. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate ANCA and/or Rollomatic CNC grinding machines Produce precision carbide cutting tools to engineering specifications Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions Perform in-process inspections and quality checks Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and consistency Troubleshoot machining issues and minimise scrap Support new product introductions and prototype work Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards Accurately record production and quality data What We're Looking For Essential Experience operating or setting up ANCA or Rollomatic CNC grinding machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings CNC grinding experience within a precision manufacturing environment Experience carrying out dimensional inspections using measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Tool & cutter grinding experience Carbide cutting tool manufacturing experience CNC programming experience Familiarity with ToolRoom, VGPro, or similar grinding software Experience training or mentoring junior operators Ideal Backgrounds We would be interested in hearing from candidates with job titles including: CNC Grinder Tool & Cutter Grinder CNC Grinding Operator CNC Machinist CNC Setup Technician CNC Programmer / Operator Precision Grinder Carbide Tool Grinder Apply Now If you have experience with ANCA or Rollomatic grinding machines and are looking to join a growing manufacturing business offering excellent earning potential, career progression, and modern CNC technology, we'd like to hear from you.
