Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Builder/Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and/or installing custom cabinets. Your expertise will help bring clients' visions to life through precise craftsmanship and efficient installation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and experience to deliver high-quality results that enhance living and working spaces. Duties Read and follow shop drawings, work orders, cut lists, and production instructions. Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare cabinet components and related materials. Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and properly. Assist with cabinet construction, including assembly of boxes, doors, drawers, face frames, and other components. Inspect materials and completed work for defects, damage, or dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly store and handle lumber, sheet goods, hardware, tools, and finished products. Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing cabinets for delivery or installation. Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management or the shop supervisor. Experience Previous experience in cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, carpentry, construction, or a related field is preferred. Experience operating woodworking machinery and power tools is preferred. Ability to read and understand basic measurements, fractions, and dimensions. Ability to read and follow shop drawings and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as effectively with a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills and processes. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials commonly used in a cabinet shop.
