Are you a talented Custom Cabinet Maker with experience making custom cabinets for high end customers? As a Cabinet Maker you will work from detailed specifications and be responsible for the setup and operation of power saws, joiners, planes, mortisers, and other woodworking equipment to create custom cabinets to perfection! This position is eligible for a $1,500 sign on bonus!

Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in a millwork shop (residential preferred). Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinetry and custom millwork. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Build cabinets, casework, doors, drawers, panels, moldings, and other custom wood components. Work with a variety of materials, including hardwoods, plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, and specialty materials. Perform layout, fitting, sanding, trimming, and assembly of millwork components. Verify dimensions and finished products for accuracy and quality. Make adjustments and corrections as needed to ensure proper fit and finish. Collaborate with project managers, designers, installers, and other shop personnel. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and properly maintain tools and equipment. Meet production schedules and project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, preferably from technical school with concentration in cabinetmaking preferred.
• Previous experience in cabinet making, architectural millwork, finish carpentry, or custom woodworking.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and measurements.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery.
• Experience operating woodworking equipment such as table saws, panel saws, routers, shapers, planers, jointers, sanders, and other shop machinery.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to accurately measure and work with fractions and dimensions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and handle materials and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with custom architectural millwork or high-end residential cabinetry.
• Experience working from detailed shop drawings.
• CNC machine experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with laminate, veneer, solid-surface, or specialty finishes.
• Installation experience is a plus.
