Job Description

The Role This is not a desk job. We are looking for a hands-on builder who speaks fluent Spanish and English to lead, train, and schedule our manufacturing floor. You will spend your day working with specialized equipment, building custom architectural products, and patiently teaching fabrication skills to a rotating crew of temporary workers. If you love building, have a high degree of patience for teaching others, and want to step into a leadership role where you guide a team without having to handle the final HR burden of firing people, this is the role for you. About CSI Creative At CSI Creative, we design and manufacture highly custom, architectural acoustic systems, bespoke ceiling features, and acoustic greenery. Our production floor brings these high-end architectural designs to life. We utilize a variety of custom fabrication processes, including CNC drag knife cutting, cold laminators, transfer adhesive tape, hotmelt, and construction adhesive assembly work. Core Responsibilities Master the
Build:
Roll up your sleeves and learn how to build every product in the CSI Creative catalog from the ground up. You must know how to do the job before you can teach it.
Train & Lead:
Act as the primary on-the-floor trainer for a team of Hispanic temporary workers. You will patiently demonstrate how to use tools safely and effectively, translating instructions and ensuring the crew understands the workflow.
Optimize & QA:
Take ownership of the floor's output. Continuously look for ways to improve build quality, increase speed, eliminate bottlenecks, and enforce strict Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
Schedule & Scale:
Manage the daily schedule for the production team. You will also be the key driver in training and building out robust, fully operational 2nd and 3rd shifts as we grow.
Coach & Correct:
Be a leader on the floor. You will participate in corrective conversations to help workers improve their skills, safety, and habits. (
Note:
You will focus purely on coaching and improvement; management/HR handles all terminations.) What We Are Looking For Bilingual (Required): Must be completely fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively communicate complex build instructions and safety protocols to our team.
Fabrication Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in custom fabrication, manufacturing, millwork, commercial framing, or a related field.
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with CNC machinery, laminators, and industrial adhesives is a massive plus, but a general mastery of shop tools and spatial reasoning is required.
Teaching Temperament:
You do not get frustrated when someone doesn't understand something the first time. You are comfortable showing, rather than just telling, someone how to do a task.
Leadership Mindset:
You lead by example. You earn respect by working alongside your team, not by shouting orders from the sidelines.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Benefits:

Language:
Spanish (Required)
