Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts and components
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials for cutting and shaping
- Install fixtures, cabinets, and other finished products
- Perform construction estimating for material quantities and labor costs
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for fabrication work
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material quantities and labor costs
- Experience with fixture installation, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
