About Us Elwood Trim and Cabinetry is a growing cabinet and finish carpentry company focused on quality work and building a solid team long-term. We're a smaller crew that takes pride in our work and wants to do things the right way. Position Overview We're looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Installer to join our team. This position will primarily focus on installing cabinetry in residential new construction and remodeling projects. We're looking for someone who has experience in cabinet installation or finish carpentry and is comfortable working in the field. You don't need to know everything or do everything exactly the way we do it—we're looking for someone with a solid foundation who is willing to learn our processes and standards. Cabinet installation will be the primary responsibility, with some finish carpentry and occasional shop work as needed. What Matters to Us Experience matters, but so does how you work. We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in clean, detailed work Shows up consistently and on time Is dependable and takes responsibility for their work Is coachable and open to learning our processes Can work independently without constant supervision Works well with a small team Takes care of tools, materials, and the homes we work in Responsibilities Install kitchen, bath, and built-in Custom Cabinetry Layout and install cabinetry accurately and efficiently Read plans, measurements, and project details Install base, casing, crown, and other finish details as needed Identify and work through common installation issues in the field Maintain clean and organized jobsites Assist with shop work when needed Work efficiently alongside a small crew Requirements Previous experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, or a closely related trade Comfortable using the hand and power tools associated with cabinet installation Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable and consistent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to be coached and adapt to company systems What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent, steady work Small team environment Opportunity to continue developing your skills Opportunity to take on more responsibility as the company grows
