Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Builder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality custom cabinets tailored to client specifications, ensuring precision and craftsmanship at every stage. Your expertise will contribute to transforming design concepts into beautiful, functional cabinetry that enhances residential spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about woodworking, experienced in carpentry, and committed to delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build custom cabinets. Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to shape wood construction materials. Perform precise trimming, sanding, caulking, and finishing to achieve a polished look. Install cabinets on-site with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit and alignment in residential settings. Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet specifications and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to power tool safety standards and protocols. Experience Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking within the residential carpentry or remodeling industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Familiarity with framing carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, rebar installation, siding, and fixture installation is a plus. Prior work on construction sites involving heavy lifting, metal stud framing, mold remediation or restoration projects is advantageous. Knowledge of construction plans related to cabinetry or remodeling projects enhances your ability to deliver quality craftsmanship.
