In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality custom cabinets tailored to our clients' specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic carpentry and woodworking, with the ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings. This position offers an opportunity to work on residential projects, utilizing woodworking machines and trim carpentry techniques to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. Duties Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate cabinet design and assembly. Use woodworking machines and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components according to specifications. Perform trim carpentry tasks, including finishing touches that enhance the overall appearance of the cabinetry. Work with various wood construction materials, selecting appropriate types for different parts of the project. Assemble, install, and finish custom cabinets in residential settings, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are understood and executed effectively. Skills Basic carpentry knowledge with experience in woodworking techniques. Proficiency in operating woodworking machines and hand tools used in cabinet building. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of wood construction materials suitable for residential cabinetry. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of safety procedures related to woodworking and carpentry tasks.
