Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Carpenter specializing in Cabinet Installation to join our team. In this vital role, you will lead the installation of custom and standard cabinets, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency on every project. Your expertise will drive the success of residential remodeling and new construction projects by delivering exceptional craftsmanship and leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with skilled teams, and showcase your mastery of carpentry and woodworking techniques. We work a 4-day workweek and provide a company vehicle and tools. Duties Lead and coordinate cabinet installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to construction plans and remodeling specifications. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute precise installations. Utilize hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively to install cabinets, fixtures, siding, flooring, and other wood construction materials. Your measuring skills must be on point! Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction. Follow power tool safety protocols at all times during assembly, cutting, sanding, caulking, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks. Collaborate with project managers and team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Update project management software and upload images and videos daily before leaving each project. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously on construction sites. Take pride in your work and enjoy bringing a smile to clients when they see their finished project. Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in cabinet installation and trim carpentry. Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting design drawings, and understanding construction plans. Proficient with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, woodworking machines, and other relevant equipment. Project management software experience a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fixture installation or siding work. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols, including power tool safety practices. Experience in remodeling projects involving countertops, tile, backsplash, and kitchen cabinets. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and teach others while collaborating with clients, the project coordinator, and the project manager.
