Chapple Remodeling Company is looking for an experienced 1099 residential remodeling subcontractor for ongoing projects throughout the Buffalo area. We are looking for someone who already has significant hands-on remodeling experience and can independently complete assigned scopes of work. This is not an entry-level position and we are not looking to train someone in the trades. Work varies by project and may include: Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Cabinet installation Drywall installation, repair and finishing Interior and exterior painting LVP and other flooring installation Baseboard, casing and finish carpentry Door and window installation/trim Tile and backsplash work Demolition and preparation General residential repairs and remodeling

Requirements:

Applicants should have substantial residential remodeling experience, their own tools and reliable transportation, and be capable of completing professional-quality work without constant supervision. Preference will be given to established independent contractors who carry their own business/liability insurance and can provide photos or references from previous projects. You do not need to specialize in every trade listed above, but we're specifically looking for well-rounded remodelers capable of handling multiple phases of residential renovations.

Compensation:

Indeed-listed range of $35-$50/hour, depending on experience, skill and scope. Compensation may also be negotiated by project or individual scope of work. This is an independent subcontractor opportunity, not an employee position. Subcontractors remain responsible for their own business operations, tools, taxes, insurance and other applicable business expenses and remain free to perform work for other customers/contractors.
