High End Cabinet Maker

Job Description

We are a Long Island high-end custom cabinetry and millwork shop seeking a hard working, experienced Cabinet Installer / Cabinet Maker / Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about woodworking, cabinetry, and precision installation, and takes pride in delivering high-quality custom work.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience using Millwork Machinery. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to a professional work ethic Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Cabinet Installer, Carpenter, Millworker, or Woodworker Ability to read and interpret architectural/shop drawings and work to exact measurements Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with millwork machinery (saws, planers, routers, sanders, etc.) Experience with
CNC Machining:
CNC Machinist, CNC Machine Operator, CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, or CNC Machinist Programmer is a plus Strong woodworking and cabinetry skills; experience in furniture making or woodmill operations a plus Ideal candidate

  • Woodmill Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and CNC/G-code specifications to guide precision cabinet fabrication and fitment.
Saw, cut, shape, and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment to create high-end millwork and custom cabinetry. Perform trim carpentry, frame construction, and precise joinery; install hardware, finishes, and detailing to meet design specifications. Maintain accurate material estimates, manage production timelines, and ensure quality control at each stage of fabrication. Uphold safety protocols, maintain equipment, and clean work area to ensure a safe, efficient shop and site environment.
