The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing cabinets and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Cabinet Finisher will be responsible for ensuring that all cabinetry meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers or sealers. Apply stains, paints, and finishes to cabinets using various tools and techniques. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with cabinet makers/installers to ensure proper fit and finish. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. Skills Proficiency in cabinet finishing techniques. Familiar with AAA and HVLP spray equipment. Familiar with cabinet finishes such as conversion varnish, lacquer, stains and toners... Familiar with sanding requirements for different finishes. Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately follow project plans. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
