Our historic factory is located on the bank of the Great Miami River, next to downtown Dayton, Ohio. We are looking for a full-time cabinetmaker that specializes in several woodworking disciplines within the manufacturing process. Attention to detail and overall commitment to quality is required for success. If you have experience as a Carpenter / Finish Carpenter, Cabinetmaker, Patternmaker, or other Woodworking Skills, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
Gerstner Cabinetmaker Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use various equipment including table saws, sanders screw drivers and routers.
  • Setup and maintain equipment.
  • Use and read scales to within 1/64".
  • Use and read calipers.
  • Utilize and adhere to standard work practices.
  • Produce quality work within time standards.
  • Willingness to perform any job as needed.
  • Work safely while observing all safety precautions.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of woodworking principles.
Gerstner Cabinetmaker Skills Needed:
  • Read scales and calipers.
  • Understanding of design prints and spec sheets.
  • Identify wood types, species, and grain structure.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time on solid surfaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Desire to learn new woodworking techniques.
  • Team Player and Self Starter.
  • Enjoys working with others.
